The Heart and Soul of Mia Liv Art

“I started to find myself painting in the midst of everyday life, seeking peace."

The first painting I created was for my sister. Soon, her friends started calling me. One by one, they wanted their own paintings—and the next thing I knew, I was painting every day.

My professional background in construction and interior design gives me the ability to understand the connection between space and art. I aim to create art that enriches people’s lives and environments, bringing harmony and meaning into everyday life.

Founded in 2019, Mia Liv Art quickly gained recognition in Finland and reached a few international retailers. However, the journey wasn’t straightforward. Challenges and setbacks shook my path, and I lost both my creativity—and with it, my voice.

I felt lost, disconnected from what had once brought me joy and meaning. One day, a friend stopped me with a simple but profound question:

“Why are you pushing your creativity away, even though it’s always been such an important part of your life?”

That moment forced me to look in the mirror and confront what I had left behind. I felt uncertain and afraid. Could I give my art a second chance?

There I was, at a turning point with a renewed direction. I took a the leap of faith and placed my trust in the strength of my vision and decided to become a solo entrepreneur and rebuild Mia Liv Art.

At first, bringing my art into the world again felt intimidating and vulnerable—it was difficult to expose myself to judgment and uncertainty.

Step by step, I found the courage to pick up the brush and pour my emotions onto the canvas. Would anyone remember me? I chose to ignore this inner question. Instead, I decided to commit to being a channel for connection and creative joy, bringing beauty into people’s lives.

As a mother, I’ve also seen how creativity passes from one generation to the next. My children have inherited their own ways of expressing themselves. Watching them reminds me of the joy and freedom that art can bring at any stage of life.

Balancing motherhood and art is an everyday battle. There’s never enough time. Still, I continue finding stolen moments, being pulled to the place called painting.

"Painting gives me a voice I wouldn’t otherwise have."

I approach each piece with a deep understanding of how art can resonate within a space, not just as decoration, but as a living element that interacts with its surroundings.

I love creating meaningful spaces. I aspire to offer art that blends seamlessly into daily life, enriching both homes and hearts.

My work isn’t just about colors and shapes—it’s about creating a lasting feeling, a harmony that goes beyond aesthetics, transforming a room into a space that feels complete and full of life.
