The darkest and most mysterious piece in the Rooted series.
Inspired by the earth beneath us — by roots, depth and the quiet feeling of being grounded. Rooted IV reflects on where we come from, what keeps us rooted, and the unseen layers beneath the surface.
This one-of-a-kind clay painting is handcrafted on a raw linen canvas. I create each clay painting base myself, building its organic, tactile surface by hand using carefully selected, non-toxic and ecological materials. Whenever possible, I choose materials sourced from Finland.
The rich earthy tones and organic texture bring depth, warmth and a quiet presence to the space.
